I'm travelling through Utah and Nevada this weekend - nothing like a trip to the desert to make you miss the cool, green Pacific Northwest. I visited Washington's Olympic Peninsula at the end of last month, and shot mostly on a (new to me) film camera that hadn't seen much light of day recently. These images were shot on colour film, on a short hike to a waterfall off one of the highways that runs through the peninsula. The variety of plant life is just incredible... and then you reach the river and the waterfall, where you just have to stand and marvel at Mother Nature.
I shot another roll of black and white film on a different hike which I'll be posting soon.
All images photographed with a Pentax K-1000, on Lomography Colour Negative 400 ISO 35mm film.
